It includes library management, format conversion, news feeds to ebook conversion as well as e-book reader sync features. Calibre is primarily a ebook cataloging program. It manages your ebook collection for you. It is designed around the concept of the logical book, ie a single entry in the database that may correspond to ebooks in several formats. It also upports conversion from a dozen different ebook formats to LRF and EPUB. A graphical interface to the conversion software can be accessed easily by just clicking the “Convert E-books” button. Supported input formats are: MOBI, LIT, PRC, EPUB, ODT, HTML, CBR, CBZ, RTF, TXT, PDF and LRS. Calibre has a modular device driver design that makes adding support for different e-reader devices easy. At the moment, it has support for the SONY PRS 500/505/700 and the iPhone (with the stanza reader software). Calibre is the good one to convert the books but result may be unpredicted..
might want to get a CBR reader app instead of trying to convert it to a PDF, which is a waste of time since ur nook is basically a computer which can handle CBR files natively
help! I have a cbr file that ive been trying to convert to pdf to read on my nook color. Ive tried Jomic and Calibre. Jomic leaves me with many missing pages and Calibre leaves a tiny piece of my comic at the bottom of each page and removes the cover. I have tried to manually edit everything before the conversion and Im all out of ideas as to whats the problem with my file. When I open the cbr file on its own theres no problem but its when I convert it It screws up. Do you have any ideas?

PC users have to use so much time hacking at it….what a lame system.
My mac obeys my commands, it also interpretes my desires and automatically “fulfils” them.
Mac experience is priceless.
or you can watch this lame dude (and his tinker bell cursor) talk for ever.
